Anonymous gifts start appearing on her doorstep, so she and her kids try to figure out who is behind the anonymous gifts. The novel is set in Edinburgh and is a perfect read for holiday season!

The design of Gordon Xmas in the 1930s started the tradition of Christmas beers. This brew is brewed in Edimbourg by Scottish Courage, and shipped to the Belgian market. Pouring a ruby red color, the beer boasts sharp malt flavours and a dry finish. This brew is perfect for chilly winter days. If you’re in the mood for something a little bit different, consider the Gordon Xmas.

If you’re in the mood for a romantic movie, watch one of the movies on the Disney+ streaming service. Among the many titles available on the streaming service are “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and “The Santa Clause.” The latter is a Disney original, featuring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader. You’ll also find a great selection of Christmas movies on Netflix. And if you’re looking for something a little different, consider watching the newer Xmas 33 on Netflix or Hulu.

“The Sandlot” by Jean Shepherd is a delightful retelling of childhood memories. While the narrator is not a character in the film, she captures the emotions and logic of a child’s mind. Billingsley’s BB gun comes up a couple of times, and most of the humor comes from child-like exaggeration. The film is not without its own charm, but it can be an entertaining read for anyone.
